September 2022 Newsletter

Greetings to everybody, and hope all is well!

Your prayers and support keep’s us moving forward to what God has called us too! Thank you for your faithfulness!

September is full of many activities and challenges. We sent a team of three of our leaders to work with an existing ministry in the Dominican Republic focusing on prostitution and sex trafficking. They will bring back into our ministry much needed skills as we continue working with the increased population of women in the Red light district Tijuana border area.

Our team consists of my wife Rossy, Mary from the House of Grace and Elizabeth from Administration.

They were delayed 36 hours in Mexico City because of a storm hitting the Dominican Republic but have arrived safe and are accomplishing the work and training needed for our Tijuana challenges. Keep them in your prayers as they work in the Dominican Republic and that they arrive home safely!

We have opened the doors for our new Women’s Home Education Center but much work is still needed. Only the first floor is now usable but we will begin with what we now have.

We need to finish a side wall that has to be raised up another four feet to keep people from dumping over to our side of the property! After this we need to plaster and paint the walls with pictures, making it colorful and attractive for the kids!

We are Looking for an additional $2,000 dollars for this project! We are opening without really finishing all that needs to be done! But we have had three women come for classes already, what a praise report! We can’t post any pictures of these women for their protection, thanks for your understanding!

Great news for those who have being praying for pastor Jesus in Sonora! After almost two weeks in the hospital, he is back home! He has started to walk with help and is eating on his own but he still has some ways to go! So please continue keeping him in your prayers for a complete recovery!

More great news! Alvaro, has finally made it home after many years of not seeing his family! Here is a picture of Alvaro with his mother called Rosa Carrillo! You can just imagine her gratitude towards God for allowing her to see her son well, no longer the black sheep of the family!

This was his very first time flying so he was quite nervous! But he wrote back saying all is well. He is very grateful to all those who made this re-union possible!

We also have a new family at the House of Grace who found themselves homeless. Lizbeth Carmona, 42, a single mom with her three daughters, Fedra 13 years old, Frida, 12 years old and Fiorelle, 8 years old! Please keep them in your prayers as they settle in and begin a new life!

So, as you see, we are keeping quite busy. Thanks for being part of the La Roca team. With Jesus Christ being the head, we together can go a long way!

In His Love and Truth!

Carlos – Rossy and the rest of the La Roca team!
