Greetings to all our dear brothers and sisters in the Lord!

I want to say sorry for not writing every month as I used to, but with so much going on and the ministry growing in all directions, it’s hard to keep up with everything!

I do realize that we need all of your prayers and support; for we could not do what God has called us to do without the whole body of Christ working together! So thank you for your patience!

For the boys dorm we are waiting impatiently for the final inspection; meanwhile finishing the small tasks and making sure all plans are in order! We can’t wait and neither can the youth!

At the dump, there is so much need! In these last 20 days, we have starting helping a single mother with 5 children. Her name is Laura and her children are as follows: Yesli(12), Ruiel(10), Taner(9), Kevin(5), and Brandon(2).

We have allowed this family to use the trailer that was used to start this ministry full time at the dump. And we keep in memory Jake Vanderwell, for raising the funds to buy the trailer and so much more!

We also help the family and many others with drinking water, breakfast, lunch, and other necessities! Little by little they are all starting to come to church and learn more about Jesus Christ! We now have anywhere from 30 to 60 people that come to church and we have 2 cell groups in the community around us. What a praise report!

Esmeralda, who is 35 years old and works at the dump, had an accident working in the dump several years ago. But the nails that were placed in her leg became lose and starting moving out, causing an infection. Now she needs the nails to be pulled out to cure the infection.

We have $1,000 dollars out of the $2,000 needed. If anybody is willing to help, please let us know as soon as possible!

We are also waiting for the workers of the company where we purchased the trailer for the dump, to get moving with finishing! All are excited and waiting for the grand opening!

People are excited as they see progress being made in their little world. They say that many have come and said that they are going to do this or that, but never do it! However, La Roca has demonstrated that we keep our word, and are willing to stick it out in good conditions or in danger! That is how it is, not to brag, but it’s the spirit of the ministry that God has placed in us!

We go where many are not willing to go, and we open churches where the battle is difficult. We invest in people’s lives and in their community, where most see no hope!

I am also excited to go to the orphanage as I am training the girls in dodge ball. Our goal is to beat the boys. It’s going to be hard, but the girls are committed. Some have already bent fingers, and needed ice pads, but they are not backing off! So keep the girls in your prayers!

The children at the dump are always excited to see me arrive on Wednesday, I think it’s because of the treats I bring them, not sure…what do you think?

Regardless, I love them all and we are proud of our staff as they are more than willing to reach and work hard to bring love to the children and people of this very dark community, where there drugs, prostitution and violence are the norm!

So again thanks for your prayers. There are many needs, so if you got a little extra, keep us in mind, we are doing a whole lot with very little!

Your missionaries, Carlos, Rossy and the rest of the team!
