March 2018 Newsletter

Dear brothers and sisters;

I would like to thank you for being an active member of the family! As you have noticed, we aren’t like most ministries. Our attitude is come as you are, for God looks at the hearts of people, not their outward appearance!

In His eyes, and ours, there are no throw-away people. Many of us come from a past that you could easily write many books on. Once prisoners in bondage to sin, we have been set free and forgiven by God in His Abundant Mercy. So being forgiven of much, we love much!

So the question is at hand, why do we do what we do? Why does anybody do what they do? The questions I am asking here are questions about purpose! Purpose defines the aims, goals and the intentions that we have.

It is the reason we do what we do here at La Roca Ministries. Our purpose is to help awaken as many people as possible to the holiness of God!

We seek to help people grasp an understanding of God’s holiness through the study of Holy Scripture, which takes us to live and walk in His purpose!

So why do we do what we do? Since we have been forgiven much, we LOVE MUCH! We work with NO LIMITS, helping youth, men and women and children throughout all of Tijuana!

And now, God has expanded our borders to south Mexico, Sonora and Oaxaca! Reaching or training Native groups as the Huarigios, Tauraumaras, Macoyahui and the Mayas! We are thrilled and humbled at the same time for this great opportunity! The more God gives us the more grateful we are, and the more we are inspired to Work for His Glory!

We are also thrilled that God brought into our ministry pastor Efren Marin and teacher Julian Contreras! With both of them on the team, this task has become possible and much more! As I said, we are excited to see what God is going to do in 2018, as it is already a great beginning!

We are also going to start providing basic needs such as school supplies, uniforms, etc, but most important, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, salvation to all mankind! Equipping the Saints for every good work in which God has called us to do!

So again, we would like to thank you for being part of this great family! May God continue to richly bless you, as you walk in faith!
