Greeting to all!

I hope we all are doing well and staying focused to what God has called us to do!

I have a short testimony from one of newest staff members at the ranch! His name is Milton, and he is 45 years old!

He left home at the very young age of fifteen! He was restless and found himself crossing the border into America!

He stayed with family in the USA for most of his time and learned construction. But he soon found himself getting into trouble.

Milton decided to leave America before getting into deeper trouble. He came back home into Mexico! After several years at home in Mexico, he decided to go back into the USA!

He came to Tijuana to start plans for crossing into United States, but wasn’t able to make it on four separate attempts!

On one of these attempts he got lost in the desert and had to be rescued by immigration!

On his second crossing, he was kidnapped and held several days but finally released! On his third attempt he swam across the river border into the USA.  While he was taking off his swim suit on the other side, immigration showed up and arrested him!

On his fourth and last attempt, he was caught running across!  He said to himself, “Why God? Why can’t I get across like I used to?”

He began wandering around in Tijuana and learned about our La Roca shelter.  He paid us a visit and was received with open arms.

While at the shelter, he kept himself busy working in construction. He continued to listen to the testimonies of the staff and decided that what they had, he wanted and needed!

Even though he was not on drugs, he did drink a lot! We recommended our ranch to him as an alternative to the shelter. So after being with us at the shelter for about 18 months, he decided to go out to the ranch and give that a try!

Now he has finished our ranch program and has worked hard without any complaining!  His construction skills are excellent, but the most important quality is his desire to learn more of God’s Word!

So, on Thursday October 8th Milton came on board as part of our ranch staff. We all came together and prayed for him!  Now He understands why he didn’t make it across the border to the US!  God had other plans for him, what a praise report! Please keep Milton in your prayers!

Another encouraging word from our shelter’s sub-director!

We were having a staff meeting and dealing with problems at the ranch!  Our brother Philip spoke up and said: “I am a fruit of this ministry! My middle brother is too! He has finished the ranch program and is back home doing well!  Now my youngest brother is also at the ranch and he has almost completed the program!”

Brother Philip continued to remind us not to get tired of the work we are doing because it is producing much fruit.  “I give thanks to God for this ministry in which I now am serving, and my two brothers likewise have found freedom from addiction and sin because of Jesus Christ our Lord!”

I was amazed to hear these words, and that is what we all needed to hear! God spoke to us through our brother Philip! Thank you, Lord, for your calling upon our lives! Thank you Lord, that we our your hands and feet to take your Love and your Word of Truth to all who can hear!

Also, on a Sunday, we had 13 baptisms, It was a great Sunday service lead by pastor Efren, and we have great fellowship and great food! But the exciting part of all, is those 13 brothers committed to following Jesus! What a praise report!

Rossy and I and staff have made this commitment within ourselves: No regrets! No regrets in serving God with all our hearts and strength! He is the reason why we live!

We have no regrets of serving in the midst of this Covid-19 crises! We are going to preach and teach, reaching out to as many as we can, regardless of what is happening around us! We give God all the Glory!

Also, some needs of ours, our youth group needs a new keyboard and a guitar. They also need a new drum set, any takers? We are in need of $1,500 dollars to update our youth equipment!  Our youth have done an excellent job. They have been learning and keeping themselves focused during these crazy days!

Another project we need to address is rebuilding our dam at the ranch. It gave way many years back and this would a great way of catching water for all our growing needs at the ranch. Cost is $6,500.00 dollars!

Again, thank you all for keeping us in your prayers and with your monthly support. Our ministry continues to grow and become more effective in what God is continuing to call us to do with you as our partners!

May God continue to bless each one of you as we work together in faith and in advancing Gods kingdom for eternity!

We are more effective because of your partnering with us with your  prayers  and support.

In His Love, Carlos and Rossy and the rest of our staff!
