November 2025 Newsletter

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Believe it or not Thanksgiving and Christmas are just a short time away! And God has always been faithful in fulfilling our needs! We firmly believe that He continues to open doors and touch hearts so that His mission remains strong and continues to expand. Reaching many people found in distress and without any hope, we here at La Roca proclaim the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ in season and out of season, so they may come to know Him. This is what your gift makes possible, the hearing of salvation that transformation people from the inside out. Also, the feeding of thousands of children, adults and seniors that are hanging on by a thread, in Tijuana, Sonora, Oaxaca and Chiapas! Thank you so much for being a light in darkness, we love you and may the Peace of our Lord Jesus be with you and family this Holiday Season!

Exciting News!

Women’s Academy

A few months ago, we began the bakery project at the Women’s Academy, and with each passing day we can see the goal getting closer—both for the women coming out of prostitution and for the young girls at House of Grace. They have learned how to make pastries and flour tortillas, and we are all excited about our progress as we eagerly look forward to opening our own pastry and cafe shop.

We can clearly see how God has been working in each one of these women, and it fills our hearts with joy to witness what He is doing in their lives today. They are falling in love with a new purpose, finding hope, and discovering a new path that will allow them to leave behind the life they once knew.

Missions in Sonora

When God calls workers into His mission field, He never fails to stir the hearts of those who are ready to follow Him. With great joy and anticipation, we are sending a team to Sonora and their names are as follows from left to right Omar, Lulu, Emeli and Salvador.

They will be helping out with our big Christmas celebration in Tanques and Techobampo. Reaching hundreds of kids from surrounded villages!

Please keep this team in your prayers—asking God to cover them with His protection, fill them with His Spirit, and use them as vessels of His love and truth. Our desire is that every step they take becomes an opportunity for God’s presence to be revealed and for His gospel to reach even more lives. This journey will not only bless the community in Sonora, but it will also deepen the faith and strengthen the hearts of our team. We are full of expectation, knowing that God is preparing something beautiful, meaningful, and powerful through this mission.

House of Grace

With hearts overflowing with gratitude to God, we joyfully announce the arrival of Emma, the precious daughter of Elvia and Santiago. We thank the Lord for this beautiful gift of life and for His faithfulness in bringing her safely into the world.

We celebrate God’s goodness and pray that He surrounds Emma with His love, protection, and abundant blessings every day of her life. We rejoice with her family, giving all glory to God for this miraculous blessing!

A Story of Hope

His name is Josías, originally from Chiapas. From a very young age he faced the abandonment of his parents and grew up with many hardships, but God sustained him even in the midst of his pain. At 15, he came to Tijuana seeking a better life, but found himself alone and without resources. He tried returning to Chiapas, but his family did not want him, so he came back to Tijuana, and his situation became even more difficult, leading him to live on the streets.

At his darkest moment, God placed a DIF officer in his path, who found him sleeping on a sidewalk and decided to help him, bringing him to La Roca shelter. When he arrived, he had nothing besides the clothes on his back! We received him with and open arms and a warm place to belong to, clothing him, and helping him get up on his feet also helping him recover his documents. We firmly believe that God brought him here with a purpose, and that this is the beginning of a new chapter where he can come to know the Lord Jesus Christ, bring healing to his heart, and help him with a future filled with hope. Please keep Josias in your prayers.

This Christmas the most meaningful gift you give won't be opened by someone you know...it will be embraced by someone you'll never met. This will be someone's unexpected blessing this Christmas! Thank you for being a light in so much darkness!  May you and your family have a meaningful Thanksgiving!

Once again, we sincerely thank each of you. All glory belongs to God alone. We are truly grateful for your support, partnership, and friendship. Thank you for being part of our extended family.

With His love and truth,

Carlos, Rossy, and the entire La Roca team
