September 2025 Newsletter

Greetings to All!

It’s truly incredible how quickly time passes—here we are, already approaching the end of 2025—and yet, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude because God has never stopped surprising us. He has wrapped us in His love, sustained us with His grace, and led us by His faithful hand every step of the way.

That’s why at La Roca, we pour our hearts into this calling, making every single day count as we serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Exciting News from the Chiapas Mission!

We are overjoyed and excited to share how the work of God has been growing in Chiapas! Our church in Tapachula, though it started just a short time ago, has already been officially recognized as a Religious Association! This is a huge step that will open many doors for us to continue sharing the Gospel in even more places.

We can clearly see the dedication, effort, and love for God's work in every servant involved. Above all, we see God's hand moving powerfully in everything that has been accomplished. One amazing example is the men's rehabilitation center we have adopted. We are now taking responsibility for leading Bible studies and discipling each of the men struggling with addictions, guiding them to a personal relationship with Christ.

We are eager to continue growing so that the Gospel can reach even more people. One of the greatest needs we've identified is among children. That’s why our next goal is to begin weekly outreach efforts to minister to children living on the streets. We want to teach them the Word, plant the seed of the Gospel in their hearts, and watch each one of them grow in faith.

Please keep us in your prayers—especially that the government would allow us to carry out these activities in the city park. We believe God will continue to make a way!

Building Bridges from Oaxaca to Tijuana

As time goes by, our mission in Oaxaca continues to build meaningful connections. Recently, we welcomed Areli and her family to Tijuana—a young woman we met during our very first mission trips, when she was just a little girl. Now, as a wife and mother, she and her family have come seeking change, longing for a fresh start, a true encounter with God, and healing for their marriage.

Leonel, her husband, has been struggling with addiction, but with a sincere desire to be transformed, he made the brave decision to enter our rehabilitation center. Areli and their baby are currently staying at House of Grace. It was a difficult decision to separate as a family, but they are trusting that the Lord will work everything together for good.

We are deeply grateful to God—especially knowing that in their culture, there is often a deep-rooted mistrust. And yet, they chose to trust La Roca and believe in the possibility of restoration.

Let us keep them in our prayers—praying for their marriage and their individual journeys, so that when they are reunited, their lives will be a living testimony of how God transforms hearts and families. May this be the beginning of deeper trust and connection, allowing us to step further into their culture with love and understanding

We Firmly Believe That God Restores and Unites Families

Our hearts are full of hope and gratitude as we witness God's faithfulness in restoring and reuniting families. Right now, we are walking alongside two beautiful families who are living testimonies of His love and care.

The first is Aidé and her family, now staying in the family area at the Ranch. They came from a dangerous and troubled neighborhood where peace seemed impossible—both in their home and in their hearts. Her parents lived in constant fear, knowing their loved ones were in harm’s way. But in their desperation, they cried out for help. And God, in His mercy, made a way. Through La Roca, they received support and a safe place to live while they begin building their new home. What once felt like a dead end has become a fresh start.

The second family is Liliana and Alberto. They arrived in Tijuana from Puebla about two years ago, driven by financial hardship and a deep desire to build a better future for their children. As faithful believers, they quickly became involved in our church community—serving, growing, and becoming a consistent part of our spiritual family.

But life in Tijuana wasn’t easy. The high cost of living and exhausting work hours meant they had little time with their children, and the weight of that reality became too much. In June, they told us they had decided to return to Puebla—for the sake of their family, for their children who were longing just to spend time with mom and dad again. It broke our hearts to see them go, but we also saw their courage, their love, and their faith in making such a hard choice. But God wasn’t done writing their story.

As they shared their plans, Rosy felt led to invite them to join the House of Grace team, offering them not only the chance to stay in Tijuana as a united family, but also the opportunity to keep growing—together—in God’s Word and His purpose for their lives. Without hesitation, they said yes. Today, Liliana and Alberto are part of our team at House of Grace, and we can truly say we are blessed beyond words. God knows exactly what His children need, and His timing is always perfect.

Let us continue to pray—for these families and for many others—that they may find restoration, peace, and a new beginning in the arms of a faithful Father.

Thank You, Lord—for Your mercy, Your favor, and Your unfailing love. May we continue to be faithful with what You’ve placed in our hands, and may everything we do bring glory to Your name.

And to everyone who has stood with us in prayer, in service, and in support—thank you. You are part of this story. Let’s continue forward with faith and passion

Your missionaries, Carlos and Rossy Montoya and the rest of the La Roca Ministries team.
