Updates

The family continues to grow!

Verónica came to us accompanied by her three children, seeking help, with a heavy heart and many uncertainties before her. The doors here opened to her and three children, with the love of a family! Giving them Hope and a new beginning.

Currently, her husband is going through some difficult changings, seeking help, something he never did before!  Their relationship marked by abuse and pain which led her to make this difficult decision of seeking help and change for herself and her children!

She took a class of making tortillas, pastries and fell in love with the process! And now is interested in making it her new future. A new way to provide for her children, that is pure and honest!

Please keep Veronica and her kids in prayer, that they find a new freedom in The Lord and that her husband have a change of heart!

Veronica’s story is a great testimony of courage, resilience and the power of restoration when there is hope and faith!

Claudia and Grettel

These are two little girls who, at their young age, have lived through very difficult moments marked by abuse and neglect. Their hearts have carried more than they should have, but even in the midst of adversity, God’s hand has never left them.

In light of this reality, their grandmother lovingly took on the responsibility of caring for them, doing everything possible to provide protection and stability.

However, due to her age and economic and physical limitations, she was unable to continue caring for them.

So, she decided to seek help to ensure a better future for them.

Today, Claudia and Grettel are in the Children’s Home, where they are receiving care, love, and the opportunity to start over. It is a place where God is gradually restoring their lives and healing their hearts.

Grettel is 7 years old and very intelligent, full of light and purpose. Although she did not have the opportunity to learn to speak in her early years, she will now begin to receive specialized support and guidance so she can gradually learn to speak, step by step, with patience, love, and hope.

Her story reminds us that even in the darkest moments, God continues to work, lifting lives and bringing restoration. Because when we place everything in His hands, there is always a new beginning.

Bryan

Bryan is a young man with many skills, a servant’s heart, and a strong desire to move forward in life. He arrived at DIF at the age of 7 and was later relocated to a group home, where he grew up and spent much of his childhood and adolescence.

Over time, that group home had to close, and the process of relocating the youth began. In the midst of this change, Bryan clearly expressed his desire: to be placed in a place where he could fully develop, feel loved, and be part of a family that would support him in his growth. So DIF contacted us so that Bryan could be integrated into our home.

With faith, we trust that in this new beginning, Bryan will not only find a home, but also a place of healing, growth, and purpose in God, building step by step the future he has long desired.

Let us keep each one of them in prayer, trusting that God continues to work in their lives, bringing healing, restoration, and hope in every step of their journey.

Tanques, Sonora

Emeli spent four months serving in Sonora. Although at first it was very difficult for her to leave her home, she chose to obey in faith the calling that God had placed in her heart. It was not an easy decision, but she trusted that every step was part of a greater purpose.

During her time in Sonora, Emeli experienced moments that deeply impacted her life. She met people with different stories, many of them going through spiritual and emotional needs, and she was able to see firsthand the great need for the gospel to be shared. Every conversation, every visit, and every moment of service strengthened her conviction that her work there was important.

Although her body was far from home, her heart gradually remained in Sonora. God expanded her love for the people, and what began as a challenge became a spiritual burden and a deeper commitment. Emeli understood that serving is not always comfortable, but it is truly transformative.

In the end, those four months were not only a time of service, but also a time of personal and spiritual growth.

The work does not stop, because God continues to work and open paths where there is need. A new team will take her place to continue serving with love and dedication.

Our seminary students, along with other companions, are preparing to travel in the month of May. They go with joy and willing hearts, knowing that God is sending them to share hope and the message of the gospel with many people.

We trust that God will guide them in every step, protect them, and use their lives to bless others. The work belongs to Him, and it is a joy to be part of what He is doing.

Let us pray for each one of them and for the work being done in Sonora. May the Lord continue opening doors, touching hearts, and growing His work in that place, and may every action be a blessing to many lives.

We are grateful to each one of you for being part of what La Roca Ministries is doing in Tijuana, Sonora, Chiapas, and Oaxaca. Your support, prayers, and willingness are an important part of this work, which continues to move forward with hope and faith in every place where God allows us to reach.

In Love Carlos & Rossy and rest of La Roca team
