February 2021 Newsletter
As we started the New Year with high expectations, in the mist of so many uncertainties!
We are keeping our eyes on Jesus to what He has called us to do! And we are not going to let anything stop us, for God is reigning now and forever!
With that being said, we are finding out that the motorcycle is a very effective ministry tool! So, we have moved quickly in buying another motorcycle for Sonora, Tanques!
This new motorcycle will help us with the distribution of food to our senior citizens as well as reaching out to the next village called Los Estrados, which is only twenty-five minutes away on a motorcycle!
We have made our first outreach to Los Estrados as pastor Efren shared the plan of salvation and six people came to the Lord!
Our hope is for Itzel and Agustin our missionaries, to continue going there once every week, along with the other two villages we are currently working in! There are still like 20 more villages around us, from 25 minutes to 2 hours away on motorcycle!
We need many more missionaries and more motorcycles! This is an excellent start for this New Year as we praise the Lord, for allowing us to be His Ambassadors!
We are just as excited with the new outreach to the women in prostitution, in the Zona Norte!
Two staff members from the House of Grace are leading the charge! Mari and Yessi both are committed in doing the Lords work here and have been with us for many years!
We began this new ministry in January, the first month of 2021. Already Mari and Yessi have made contact with many women in prostitution and are slowly building up relationships with them!
They are going out Mondays and Thursdays, early afternoons while at the same time looking for the perfect place to invite them for coffee and fellowship!
Please pray that the doors will open to rescue these young women and girls! Also pray for Mari and Yessi and the ladies they will meet!
The House of Grace has a new young boy of 14 years old. His name is Adrian! He was living with his grandmother, but she could no longer afford to take care of him! Adrian’s mother is on drugs and nowhere to be seen! Please pray for Adrian as he goes through this very difficult adjustment time in his life! Also pray for the House of Grace as they show Adrian the love he needs to grow in his new home!
As for the House of Grace, they all are doing great, excited to start their school on line! They are keeping themselves busy with sports and music! We have 8 older boys and a total of 33 in the Orphanage!
Quick update at the ranch, we finally finished the chicken house! Could not have come at a better time! The chickens are in a much larger and warm place! Also 3 more baby goats were born this month, making 5 in the last 4 months!
Also, I want to give thanks to my mother for being so faithful almost from the beginning! I thank God for her example!
So again, we thank you for allowing us to make a difference in the lives of so many!
All I know is that we could not do it on our own, but together, in Christ, all things are possible! Amen!
So again, we thank each one of you for your prayers and support! Thanks for participating in La Roca family, because when you think about it, we are one very large family in Christ!
In His Truth, Carlos and Rossy and the rest of La Roca team!
