August 2021 Newsletter
Greeting to you all and hope so far, it’s been a great summer!
Well regardless of the month we are in, we as usual are quite busy with all the ministry we do!
Our feeding and outreach to the immigrant’s camp continues to grow, from the hundreds to the thousands!
We are also bringing anywhere from 25 to 50 to the church every Friday. So they can take a warm shower and receive clean cloths and a warm meal, but last but not least God’s Word!
We thank our heavenly Father, for being the faithful provider that He is! He is good all the time!
In the Zona Norte, our Evangelism effort continues strong with Mary in front of this great and difficult ministry! They approach over 30 women every time they go out, and to my surprise almost each women has 2 or more kids! And their average age is 25 years old!
It’s amazing that Mari keeps finding new girls working the streets, as young as 19! And another thing that has made things more difficult is that more women are turning to sex work as a result to the economic crisis due to Covid. And they are coming from all over the city of Tijuana! So please continue to keep them and this ministry in your prayers!
Update at the ranch, things are moving along, with a new generation being equip for work of the harvest! The summer months are hot and into the higher nineties, reaching 100 degrees or more at times!
But these strong and determine men are there because they want to seek after Jesus and find a new life in Jesus! They take three classes every day, alone with clean up, work, and play! And in the midst of a busy day, three warm meals! Making it a very full schedule for all the men!
The Ranch has been and still is our foundation of creating new disciples for Christ! Men don’t just come to leave drugs, but to become a disciple for Christ!
At the house of Grace, we just got done celebrating Emely 15th birthday. Her dream was to travel and go where she has never gone before! Which wasn’t very difficult! Since Emely have not gone out of Tijuana!
She had a blast, being part of our crazy family, and she wants to thank each one of you for helping make her dream come true!
Also, our youth retreat went quite well, with many activities, competitions, pool and good solid spiritual food! Our youth came back tired but challenge with the Word of God!
We also want to thank Spectrum ministries for helping us build a home for a blind pastor who desperately needed a home for his family! Some of La Roca team working side by side with Spectrum, working together for the glory of God! Now that’s how it should be done!
So as you see, there is much to do and we are keeping quite busy doing our Fathers will! We need help and would like to invite your group to consider coming down to Tijuana with us!
We still are looking for a SUV, for Sonora and one for the Ranch! If you know of one, please keep us in mind!
Thanks for being part of La Roca family, a very hard-working group of servants of God! Thanks for your prayers and support that continues to allow us to bring the Gospel to so many people in Mexico!
In His Love and Truth, Carlos – Rossy and the rest of the team!
