June Newsletter 2026

Dear Family!

As we come to the end of another month, our hearts are filled with gratitude. These past weeks, we have seen God move in very special ways, reminding us once again that He remains faithful in every detail.

Through every person who arrives at our shelter, every story of restoration, every need that has been met, and every moment shared, we have witnessed His love and provision. We have also been reminded that we do not do this work alone. Through your prayers, support, and generosity, you are part of every life that is impacted by this ministry.

We are filled with joy and anticipation as we prepare to come together and celebrate all that God is doing through this ministry at our Gala on October 30, 2026!

This special evening will be a time of gratitude, fellowship, and rejoicing as we reflect on God's faithfulness and the many lives He continues to transform.

We would be honored to share this memorable celebration with you.

Save the Date! We look forward to welcoming you with open arms at our beautiful venue, Agape 1928, a place God has graciously blessed us with: 1531 N. El Camino Real, San Clemente, CA

Shelter -We are deeply grateful to God because His goodness never ceases to amaze us!

We are thrilled to share that 95% of our wooden bunk beds at our shelter have now been replaced with metal bunk beds. This has help us eliminate the bed bugs, which kept our staff busy.

This achievement has been made possible through God's faithfulness and through every person who chose to be part of this vision with their prayers, support, and generosity. Every contribution, no matter how small or large it may have seemed, has made a real impact in the lives of those who find refuge and hope here.

Thank you for walking alongside us and helping us continue transforming lives. We are so close to completing this goal, that we celebrate all that God has done and will continue to do.

Claudia and Grettel

House of Grace -Two months ago, we shared the story of Grettel and Claudia, two young girls who, despite their tender age, have already endured more pain and loss than many experience in a lifetime.

Today, their story has taken another heartbreaking turn. Their grandmother—the one person who loved them deeply, cared for them faithfully, and was their only family—has passed away. In the midst of this profound loss, Grettel and Claudia have now come under the full care of La Roca.

It is difficult to imagine the grief and uncertainty they are carrying in their young hearts. Yet even in the middle of sorrow, we are reminded that God sees them, loves them, and has not forgotten them.

More than ever, they need the embrace and comfort of the loving family, that will stand beside them, encourage them, pray for them, and remind them that they are deeply loved and valued. They need to know that they are not alone and that there is a community surrounding them with compassion, hope, and support.

Despite the challenges they face, we continue to witness beautiful rays of hope. Grettel is still receiving speech therapy, and it brings us great joy to see the progress she is making little by little. Every new word, every effort, and every small milestone is a precious victory. These moments remind us that God is still at work, gently restoring and strengthening her life one step at a time.

We humbly ask you to continue keeping Grettel and Claudia in your prayers. Pray that God would heal their broken hearts, comfort them in their grief, and pray for us, that we be the instruments of peace, stability and unfailing love. Together, we can help carry their burdens, encourage their hearts, and show them that even in the darkest moments, God is still writing  a story of redemption, restoration, and hope.

Sonora - We continue working so that the ministry may keep growing and reaching more lives for Christ. This month, we had the opportunity to send Pastor Alex and his wife Anahi to Sonora for several days to support the training and preparation of the local team. Pastor Alex and Anahi are growing in responsibilities and pastoral care and missions.

It was a valuable time of teaching, fellowship, and spiritual encouragement, with the purpose of equipping those who are sharing the message of hope within their communities. We believe that by investing in those who serve, we are strengthening the work God is doing and preparing the way to reach even more lives.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support. Together, we remain part of what God is doing in Tijuana, Sonora, Chiapas, and Oaxaca.

In His Love and Truth, Carlos and Rossy and the rest of La Roca team
